Froof’s Ingredients
We practice a full ingredient disclosure for all our pet parents out there because we believe that you have the right to know what’s in the product.
Deionized Water
A form of clean, purified water that does not contain ions to ensure it has no impurities.
Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate
For cleansing properties, it is different from SLS as it is much milder and less irritating. Also commonly used in cosmetic products.
Cocomide MEA
A cleansing agent derived from coconut oil that adds viscosity and foam to cleansing formulas.
Dodecylbenzenesulfonic Acid Sodium Salt
A cleaning agent used in our products to remove dirt and deposits. In its liquid form, as we use it, it surrounds dirt particles to loosen them from the surface to which they are attached.
Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid
Chelating agent that helps to react with metal ions and help to keep the formula stable.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate
An antiseptic and disinfectant against a wide range of bacteria and fungi, also used for skin disinfection before surgery and for sterilizing surgical equipment.
Benzalkonium Chloride
Anti-microbial and preservative. This ingredient is effective as an anti-microbial and is safe for pets when kept at a low concentration of 0.1%. We have verified with several vets for its safety, as long as this ingredient is diluted accordingly to instructions and used properly, it is regarded as 'safe for use'.
All extracts are made with a combination of raw materials and chemical compounds designed to be gentle on pets.
